For fruit lovers, this classic cake is a real delight. Anyone can make it by choosing the perfect combination.
Today, I preferred oranges!

  • vanilla essence (I use homemade essence)

  • 600 ml milk
  • 2 sachets of gelatin - 20 gr
  • 5 oranges
  • 1 can of pineapple compote
  • 1 jar of peach compote
  • 250 gr biscuits
  • 350 ml liquid cream

RECIPE PREPARATION Diplomate cake with oranges:

Rub the yolks with the sugar until they turn white. Add the milk and put the composition in Bain-Marie, stirring constantly until it begins to thicken. Hydrate the gelatin in 4-5 tablespoons of cold water. the granulation is no longer felt, it should be well melted and we pour it over the hot mixture of milk and eggs, stirring vigorously until it is completely incorporated. Leave it to cool, beat the whipped cream and incorporate it into the cream. We wallpaper with transparent foil a form with detachable walls with a diameter of 22-24 cm which we cover with orange slices. I put it in the freezer for 10 minutes to make sure that they stuck and did not move from their place. Pour over the orange half of the cream and sprinkle the diced pineapple. Add the rest of the cream over the pineapple, then the peaches cut into small pieces. (I didn't use peaches for this cake, but I realized that it would have been exceptional if I had used them, that's why I added them to the ingredients)

Place a layer of biscuits on top and syrup with the pineapple compote syrup and refrigerate until the cream hardens. Then turn it over on a plate and peel off the transparent foil.
